NOW ON MALDIVES BLUE FORCE FLEET: ENOS PREMIUM SAFETY FOR DIVERS
At Blue Force Fleet, diver safety has always been an absolute priority. But for us, “safe enough” is never enough: we always aim for “as safe as possible.”
That is why our vessels in the Maldives are now equipped with an innovative diver location and emergency system: ENOS.
WHAT IS ENOS?
ENOS is an emergency location system that combines transmitter, receiver, and GPS, with direct communication between the diver and the boat.
No intermediaries, no delays.

Here’s how it works:
- The ENOS transmitter (ETXpro) is carried by the diver and remains “asleep” until needed.
- In case of emergency, a simple 180° twist (easy even while wearing gloves) activates it.
- Instantly, the transmitter sends an alert signal with the diver’s GPS position to the receiver installed on board the dhoni (our dive boat).
- The receiver (ERXpro) displays the diver’s identity, position, distance, and direction.
- The system can track multiple divers at the same time, updating their location every few seconds.
Key features:
- Lightweight and compact (approx. 160 g).
- Fully waterproof, pressure-tested, and easy to handle.
- Long-lasting power: up to 170 hours of operation with standard AAA batteries.
- Effective range of 17–28 nautical miles, depending on antenna and receiver height.
WHY WE CHOSE ENOS FOR BLUE FORCE FLEET
1. Faster, more accurate response
In a drifting or missing diver situation, every second counts. With ENOS, our crew knows exactly where to go — no guessing, no blind searches, no wasted time.
2. Peace of mind for the diver
Having a direct safety link to the boat brings immense confidence. You can fully enjoy your dive with the certainty that, should a problem arise, you will be located quickly.
3. Reliable, independent technology
ENOS works autonomously, without relying on external systems. It also supports multiple transmitters, making it ideal for group diving.
4. Designed for real ocean conditions
Created with waves, currents, and signal absorption in mind. It uses a license-free frequency and provides constant position updates, ensuring top performance even in critical situations.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU AS A DIVER
- Before each dive, every diver will be provided with an ENOS transmitter free of charge by the Blue Force staff.
- Using it is very simple: activate it only in case of emergency and always following the instructions from the onboard safety briefing.
- Our crew is fully trained to interpret alerts, operate the receiver, and carry out fast and precise rescues.
- If an emergency occurs, the boat won’t have to guess your location: we will come directly and immediately to you.

THE BLUE FORCE DIFFERENCE
- With Blue Force Fleet and ENOS, every dive is lived with the confidence of knowing you are in the very best hands. This is no coincidence: for over 25 years, we have been driven by a constant obsession to improve day after day, perfecting every detail of our vessels, our operations, and the onboard experience.
- At Blue Force Fleet, we believe excellence is achieved not only by embracing major innovations —such as the incorporation of the ENOS system— but also by giving the same care to every small detail that can be improved, no matter how minor it may seem. This attention to detail makes the difference and strengthens the trust of those who travel with us.
- For us, diver safety is not just another aspect: it is the foundation upon which everything else is built. The addition of ENOS is yet another step in our continuous pursuit of excellence, staying at the forefront of technology, and anticipating the needs of those who place their trust in us.
- Because choosing Blue Force Fleet means far more than choosing a liveaboard diving cruise: it means enjoying the ocean with the certainty of being cared for by a team fully dedicated to you, committed to innovation, and constantly striving to deliver the ultimate diving experience with the highest possible level of safety.
